"This preschool is phenomenal. I remember coming to visit the school when we were looking for a preschool for our daughter, right after she turned two, and I was immediately struck by how welcome the setting felt, how much I appreciated the values of the school, and how much Ms. Gayle and teachers seemed to care for the children. This sentiment has only grown. I strongly feel that enrolling our child in this preschool is one of the best things we have done for her. The curriculum is fantastic – and something we have come to appreciate even more, with the reports we get from Ms. Rachel. We see every day how truly and deeply Ms. Gayle and all of the teachers care for the children – and how much the children love them. I feel they must all have amazing patience, and yet I have very rarely seen it tried. Instead, all always seems well, at all times of day. The children seem to respond well to the routine and structure the school provides, the activities and lessons keep them interested and engaged, and the teachers have all earned the children’s respect. We asked once, when our daughter was acting up at home, whether Ms. Rachel would permit her to do what she was doing at home – and she said "Oh no. Ms. Rachel would never allow this.” Thank you, Ms. Gayle, Ms. Beatrice, and all of the wonderful teachers at CIS North Scott Street. We are so lucky to have been part of your wonderful school.
